In today's class we had to do an exercise about providing Concluding Sentences:

1. Those are a few examples of what a good conversationalist should do to keep a conversation alive and make the others feel listened.

• Method used (SSs): Enumeration.
• Method used (CS): Formal marker dependent from the sentence and not followed by a comma. It sums up the contents of the paragraph.

2. Indeed, they are creating more problems than workers can handle.

• Method used (SSs): Examplification.
• Method used (CS): Formal marker independent from the sentence and followed by a comma. It paraphrases the topic sentence.
